Indian Spirit Festival 2026 Welcomes 25,000 Psytrance Fans from 67 Countries

The German Psytrance festival brought more than 150 artists, six stages and a wide range of music, art and wellness experiences to Eldena, with tickets for the 2027 edition now on sale.

Indian Spirit Festival 2026 has wrapped up in Eldena, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, after bringing together 25,000 Psytrance fans from 67 countries for an international celebration of electronic music, psychedelic culture and community.

Taking place from August 26 to 31, the festival featured more than 150 national and international artists across six stages and areas, making this year's edition one of the largest in Indian Spirit's history.

The Sun Stage formed the centre of the main musical program, with artists including Astrix, Neelix, Vini Vici, Blastoyz, Ace Ventura, Berg, Ghost Rider, Omiki, Phaxe, Ranji and Morten Granau delivering sets across the festival.

Over at the Moon Stage, the lineup explored further corners of the Psytrance spectrum with performances from Astral Projection, Avalon, Captain Hook, Electric Universe, GMS, Killerwatts, Tristan and Zyce.

The festival also made room for the harder and more experimental side of psychedelic music. The Mushroom Stage featured artists including LSDIRTY, Dark Jochen, Acid Combo, Mentalecho, Psynonima and Z-Cat, while the Chill Out Stage, Fire Tent and newly introduced Nebula Stage provided more atmospheric and genre-crossing alternatives to the main dancefloors.

Music was only part of the Indian Spirit experience. The festival grounds were transformed with large-scale decorations, LED parades, artist performances and fire shows, with a major fireworks display taking place on Saturday evening.

Away from the stages, visitors could take part in a broad daytime program focused on creativity, movement and wellbeing. The Workshop Area offered activities including breathwork, Reiki, didgeridoo, handpan, flowerstick upcycling and Psychedelic Dino Painting, while the Yoga & Healing Area hosted yoga sessions, sound meditation, cacao ceremonies, massage and other healing practices.

The Fire Place provided another space for participation, with juggling, balancing, flow arts, hula hoop and poi activities giving visitors an opportunity to get involved rather than simply watch.

The combination of music, visual art, workshops and communal spaces has been central to Indian Spirit since its beginnings in 1999. Over the years, the festival has developed into one of Europe's established gatherings for the international Goa and Psytrance community, bringing together audiences from across the world in the rural surroundings of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

With the 2026 edition now complete, attention has already shifted towards next year's festival. Indian Spirit Festival 2027 is scheduled to take place in Eldena from August 25 to 30, 2027.

The presale for the 2027 edition began on September 1 at 6:00 p.m., with further details about the lineup and program expected to be announced at a later date.
