There are debut albums that introduce an artist and debut albums that define one. "Solstice," the 19-track first full-length from cinematic melodic bass artist NURKO, is firmly in the second category — a body of work years in the making, built on emotional, melodic, pop-driven bass music and centred on an idea as simple and universal as it is personal: turning toward the light. His 2022 debut EP "Arrival" carried him onto his first headlining tour, taking in rooms like New York's Webster Hall and Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium, and established him as one of the most compelling live acts in his corner of electronic music. "Solstice" is the natural next step in that arc, and it arrives with the infrastructure to match: a full album-themed tour will be unveiled in October 2026 and officially launches in March 2027, with confirmed dates across Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Toronto, Montreal, Dallas, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, Atlanta, and more cities still to be announced.
